Wyrdy.com consists of two different sections: Newswyrdy, containing free articles published by a team of writers and Wyrdy Wellness, a corporate wellness program available by subscription.

Both sections have one goal in common: We hope to make a dent in the ever increasing curve of death and disease caused by chronic disease by promoting safe disease prevention. There is a tremendous amount of good science that points to strategies for how this can be achieved but most of these strategies are completely ignored by mainstream medicine. Why?

Mostly because mainstream medicine to a large degree is a branch of the pharmaceutical industry, an industry that derives all of its revenue from disease, which means that primary disease prevention is a direct threat to their bottom line and consequently, mainstream medicine has a terrible track record in the field of disease prevention.

THE WYRDY WELLNESS PROGRAM

We are putting together the corporate wellness program because we realize that the disease prevention strategies needs to be applied on all fronts to be effective but also because we believe these ideas will gather much wider acceptance if large corporations starts to funnel large sums of money in this direction rather than in the direction of the pharmaceutical industry.

There is an emerging realization among both small and large corporations that the pharmaceutical giants are creating their huge profits in part by digging in to the profits of all other corporations. Sickness and ill health is creating huge costs for all businesses. The pharmaceutical companies are responsible for these costs through the deceptive marketing of dangerous pharmaceutical drugs leading to death and disability as well as for lobbying efforts and other activities that are undermining efforts aimed at preventing disease.

We hope this emerging realization among companies will result in that they will join in the revolution in health that already has started: The marriage of healthcare IT and personalized functional medicine and nutrigenomics that is providing powerful methods for the prevention of disease. This solves almost all what is wrong with the outdated model used for medicine up till now. If money starts to flow into these new directions, the transformation of the current healthcare models into models that are centered around prevention is going to accelerate.

If the corporations realize they actually are competing directly against the huge pharmaceutical giants, that they are weighted down by unnecessary ill health and related costs, they will take action, investing in keeping their staff optimally healthy using modern methods for disease prevention. Then conventional drug-centered healthcare soon will exposed as the outdated and fundamentally flawed apparatus it is and we will all start asking ourselves how we ever could let the pharmaceutical industry be in charge of preventing disease. It doesn’t make any sense.

And the verdict is in. They failed completely. In fact, they didn’t really try.

MAXIMIZING HEALTH

The conclusion is simple: Spend your money on keeping your staff, your family and your friends at maximum health. Do not wait until it is to late, when a hard-to-cure serious disease has manifested itself.

Cytotoxin and radiation treatment have a dismal cure rate for cancer. Preventing cancer is much easier, but if you are a producer of some sort of foodstuff, let us say berries or a vegetables, you are not allowed even to mention the scientific studies that proves your food has the ability to prevent cancer!

Why? Because the FDA will have you thrown in jail if you do not cease and desist from telling people how they can reduce the risk of cancer. A tactic they already have employed against US cherry producers.

What does this tell us besides that the FDA is completely in the pocket of the pharmaceutical industry?

It tells us the system is broken and we cannot wait for the government to fix it for us. It is up to us to fix it. It is up to small and big corporations across the world to acquire the knowledge and support they need to stay healthy, to keep their staff and their family and friends out of the hospital.
