Food Combining? Just Go Crazy

Life is hard just as it is. I don’t need complicated diet rules to complicate it further.

Especially when there is no good reason whatsoever for doing so.

The Montignac diet only has one thing going for it. The guy inventing it is french. That’s all. And there is no real scientific support for the food combining theories.

Hormone Disruptors From Cosmetics Found in Teens

Chemicals in cosmetics are absorbed through the skin, so it is not surprising that the Environmetal Working Group detected a number of chemicals in the blood and urine of teenage girls.

What is surprising is that manufacturers are allowed to use endocrine disrupting and cancer-causing chemicals in cosmetics and that they continue using them although it is perfectly possible to do without them.

Is killing the customer really a good idea?

Industry Programmed Our Kids For Obesity

Is obesity caused by laziness and a lack of self discipline?

No, not on the part of the obese.

But there are some really lazy people working in government agencies, where they fail to fulfill their duties, causing us to be exposed to obeseogens — environmental toxins that are able to reprogram our gene expression and mess with hormonal signals, causing obesity and diabetes.

There is a huge difference in the amount of pesticides you will have in your urine.

If you have a garden, you might think that it is just a bonus, having very easy access both to liquid fertilizer, water, and bug spray, but for most people the risks outweigh the utility.
